Before/After School Program

The focus of this program is to help children learn responsibility and develop the ability to exercise good judgment. We help students develop their time management skills and practice prioritization of tasks.

We provide time allocated for our students to do their homework. We also offer a variety of activities to support children ages 6 – 10 develop additional skills through social interaction and group games.

Afternoon van service is also provided from Newport Children's School to our school. There is no additional charge for transportation to or from these public schools.

We are so excited to be part of your child’s education. When you choose Kirkland Children’s School, there are three enrollment steps to begin the best educational journey:

  1. Tour
    Before you apply, schedule a tour, including your child, at Kirkland Children's School of Bellevue Washington. You’ll be added to our interest list, and when space becomes available then we’ll reach out to arrange the date. This is an opportunity to view our programs, particularly Before-After School, in action. Prepare also to meet with our dedicated staff.
  2. Application
    ‍After your tour, we’ll provide you with the necessary application forms, and be ready to respond to your specific questions or concerns regarding paperwork.
  3. Enrollment Forms & Fees
    When your application is accepted, the final steps to secure your child’s education include completing the enrollment forms, submitting the registration fee, and paying the deposit.
