Who Are We?
Our school seeks to inspire young children to embrace their innate curiosity about the world around them and to experience the natural joy of exploration and play within safe, beautiful, and rich environments. Our caring and professional community of educators implement an integrated science-based curriculum that promotes independence, problem-solving skills and social-emotional competence. We work in partnership with families to lay a strong foundation for lifelong learning and lasting connections.
The school’s founder, Rosalind Simmons, has been providing childcare services to Seattle area parents for over 50 years.
Situated on nearly three acres, our campus offers ample room for kids to run, play and learn. We are a certified wildlife habitat and Department of Fish and Wildlife sanctuary. Our numerous outdoor play areas provide children areas to explore nature.
Our healthy meals, year-round outdoor spaces, and well-trained and caring staff are some of the reasons families have entrusted us with their children’s early learning care since 1973.
